Huawei founder opposes China’s retaliation against Apple

After President Trump’s order, Google announced to stop business cooperation activities with Huawei.

In a recent conversation with Chinese media, Mr. Nham Chinh Phi appeared optimistic about US sanctions and sought to reassure public opinion.
“I have discussed with leaders of many different countries.
“In areas where we have the most advanced technology, like 5G, there won’t be much impact.
According to Mr. Nham Chinh Phi, Huawei believes in the 1+1 policy, in which half of the chips are purchased from American companies and the remaining half are equipped by Huawei itself.
“Even though our chip prices are much cheaper, I still buy higher priced chips from the US.
Regarding Google’s suspension of cooperation, which means Huawei will not be able to use many Google services for smartphones, Mr. Nham Chinh Phi said he will find a way to coordinate with Google to solve the problem.
“Google is a reputable company, a highly responsible company.
Huawei currently has 26 global research and development centers with more than 700 mathematicians, 800 physicists and 120 chemists working for Huawei.
“My children and grandchildren prefer Apple products over Huawei.
