Captain America: Civil War is one of the most successful works of the MCU to date.

Why do the Russo brothers want to abandon Captain America: Civil War?

Iron Man 3 could not escape the same fate.

The final typical example is director Edgar Wright’s decision to withdraw from the Ant-Man project because the committee interfered too much in the film’s construction process.

Why are the Russo brothers an important piece in the MCU’s Infinity Saga?

Back to the main issue, after the success of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel Studios immediately realized that Joe and Anthony Russo were the people they needed to find for the director position of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

More importantly, Whedon once admitted he didn’t know how to end the Infinity Saga.
