PlayStation 5 officially revealed: Very cool design but unknown price, includes GTA V when released

After a long period of continuous teasing, some information related to PlayStation 5 (PS5) was officially revealed by Sony in an online event held early this morning (Vietnam time).

At the event, the design and style of PlayStation 5 were officially announced by Sony.

PS5 has a pretty ‘cool’ design, with a black and white color combination.

In terms of design, the PlayStation 5 has a fairly modern ‘appearance’, with a white, slightly curved outer shell, surrounding a black ‘box’ in the middle.

Notably, Sony’s latest generation of consoles will have two versions: the standard version and the Digital Edition version, which does not integrate a 4K Blu-ray drive, exclusively for gamers who regularly buy it.

Contrary to many predictions before the reveal date, the price and release date of PlayStation 5 were not announced by Sony at the event this morning.

Remember a few months ago, the configuration of PlayStation 5 was also announced by Sony.

In addition, PlayStation 5 will use a custom SSD with a capacity of up to 825GB.

According to Sony, the SSD with high-speed data read/write performance on the PS5 will help shorten the waiting time for the game to download data to just a few dozen seconds, or even a few seconds.

A series of huge exclusive games were revealed, including GTA V for free

Also at the event, a series of games exclusively for PlayStation 5 were announced by Sony.

A number of other notable multi-platform games will also appear on PlayStation 5, such as Resident Evil Village (the 8th version of the Resident Evil horror game series), NBA 2K11, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Hitman 3, Deathloop.

Notably, the launch of PlayStation 5 also witnessed the return of some once-popular games.

In particular, gamers will be able to download and play GTA Online – the multiplayer part of GTA V – for free within the first 3 months after the launch of PlayStation 5.
