Set in 1980 when mechanical monsters with destructive weapons attack the Swedish countryside, Generation Zero – an open-world shooter from developer Avalanche that produced the Just Cause series created

In Generation Zero, you will join a group of characters who go on a number of missions that the game assigns, including finding out why people are missing, locating survivors, and discovering the truth behind them.

Scattered across the map are towns, farms, underground bunkers and many strange locations such as a military base.

The game map is very large, requiring you to walk from location to location, fight robots and collect loot.

The world in the game is beautifully realized, especially the contrast of the sci-fi robots with the beautiful Scandinavian scenery.

Some robots in the game walk on four legs and have the same size and shape as the real-life Boston Dynamics robot.

When playing co-op, you can have more fun adventuring, confidently tackling groups of robots and creating strategies while fighting.

At the moment, Generation Zero is open for free on Steam from now until May 3.
